The “Toddlers” move into these environments between 2 ½ years to 3 years when they show their readiness. The children between 3 to 6 years, absorb information effortlessly but consciously from their environment on language, culture, and habits. Montessori believes that the children are natural learners, and they do that quite effortlessly with an enabling environment, exploring, experimenting, and discovering on their own.
The Montessori Method of Education was developed more than 100 years ago by Italian physical and educator Maria Montessori. It is a holistic approach and values the development of the whole child – motor emotional, social, language and cognitive.
Our environment is prepared with the aim in exploding the potential of the children between 2 ½ – 6 years. It is functional in nature and exudes the love that they so need to make them feel respected and empowered. Our curriculum essentially pivots on the
a) movement of the children – “help me to move by myself
b) communication of the children – “help me to communicate by myself
c) independence of the children – “help me to do it by myself and
d) self-discipline of the children – “help me to be responsible by myself
